如果您之前是第一次在美国办理的旅行证，那么回国之后，旅行证快到期了，需要更新了，必须回美国办理更新吗？根据我们的经验，您不一定要回美国办理，可以去中国周边别的国家，例如泰国、韩国、香港，越南等，只要有中国领事馆的都应该可以办理旅行证。但是因为政策的不断改变，可能在办理证件上也会有所变化，具体您还是得与当地领事馆联系或朋友帮忙打听。
如果夫妻双方其中一方无法到场，一般还需要做一份委托书并且公证认证。我们可以提供全美50各州的委托书三级认证服务。
