To obtain an apostille for your documents from the office of Alvin Jaeger North Dakota’s Secretary of State in office in Bismarck follow the guidelines:

Considerations for documents notarized by a North Dakota notary: The North Dakota Secretary of State’s office will verify that the notary certificate commission is valid in order to issue the apostille.

Please make sure your notarized documents contain: A certificate of notarial acts also known as acknowledgement (cloud be printed or hand written) signature of notary (matching the signature on file) date, county where the notary is registered and the commission expiration date.

Considerations for certified copies of official document such as birth, death or marriage certificates, these must be certified copies issued by the State registrar of vital statistics, a county clerk recorder of a circuit court judge. Documents signed by Darin Meschke will be acceptable for apostille.

Considerations for school records and academic documents form North Dakota State University, University of North Dakota, Minot State University, Dickinson State University and the University of Mary among others please request form the school principal or university registrar a copy of the transcript or diploma indicating the student’s full name, academic year school’s name and address, stating the student has fully completed the requirements of the school.

If you need a new copy of a court document that has been certified by government officer or notarized by a notary public contact the appropriate county.
