于2016年2月份起，CEV可提供中国护照遗失等原因，照成无中国护照原件，无法申请中国签证的服务业务。
对于已经加入美国国籍，持美国护照，无中国护照原件，也可申请中国签证。
但是，办理周期较长，一般1-2个月，最长周期长达半年。注意：需申请者积极配合，等待领事馆电话。
