Considerations for notarized documents: document executed by a Notary Public in North Carolina Notary Public must include a Notary statement (acknowledgement), signature and notary stamp. Clear indication of the State and county where the document is executed and the notary commission expiration date.

Considerations for divorce documents: must be issued by the Clerk of Superior Court or county clerk of court where the divorce occurred.

Considerations for Academic records such as transcripts, report cards and diplomas issued by Duke University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, Wake Forest University, University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Appalachian State University among others must be notarized by a North Carolina Notary Public, please contact your school registrar to obtain this.
