Considerations for Georgia vital records:

• Obtained through the office of vital records.
• Within the last five years.
• With a pen in hand signature.
• Birth, death and marriage certificates documents do not need to be notarized because the seal and signature is already acceptable for apostille.
• If you have a certificate (birth or marriage) issued by Probate Court make sure it has a handwritten signature, no signature stamps will be acceptable.
