Before you send your document to the US Department of State, documents must have the following in order to be eligible:<\/h3>\n\n- Notarized by a public notary (if applicable)<\/li>\n
- Certification by Town or County Clerk (where applicable)<\/li>\n
- Authentication by the Secretary of the State where the notary public is commissioned or the state in where the certified copy was issued.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
